Australian social library showcased

The Rail KnowledgeBank, developed by Cooperative Research Centre for Rail Innovation (CRC for Rail Innovation) using Presto for Social Libraries, has recently been showcased in Inmagic’s blog.

The Rail KnowledgeBank aims to provide a single, easily searchable repository for Australian and International rail-related information. This initiative was created to address the potentially serious and compounding problem in coming years of the widespread loss of industry knowledge through significant levels of workforce retirement and aims to create a vital resource for the Australian rail industry.

For more information on the project, check out our case study with details of the CRC for Rail Innovation’s challenges and requirements, why it chose Presto for Social Libraries for the job, how Maxus helped the organisation implement it, and the results CRC for Rail Innovation is now seeing for its organisation and the rail industry.
