Inmagic Museums User Group meeting at YRRM – 2 December

The next meeting of the Inmagic Museum User Group will be held at the Yarra Ranges Regional Museum on 2nd December 2014. The Museum collection of more than 8,000 items includes the internationally significant Dame Nellie Melba collection and objects reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the Yarra Ranges region. It is a focal point for more than 17 historical societies and heritage groups across the Shire, a gathering space, and a source of professional educational and public programs.

The museum, a long time user of DB/TextWorks, has recently started using Presto for DB/TextWorks as its online platform for its collection. The catalogue is available at http://www.yrrmuseumcollection.com

How to get there:

Public transport: 5-10 minute walk from Lilydale railway station. Current timetable
Parking: The Museum does not have designated car parking facilities for visitors, however, most street parking around the building is free of charge.

Catering: Light refreshments will be provided. (There is an adjoining cafe but this closes at 4pm so if you wish to buy food and drinks there you will need to arrive earlier.)
