Inmagic at RACV Club Library – User group meeting report

About 40 people thoroughly enjoyed the User Group meeting at the RACV Club Library on October 13.  This library was set up from scratch when the Club moved into their new premises in 2004. Lisa Sukkel, who has been the librarian from the start, hosted us and gave us a good history of how it came to be what it is, and the unique challenges they face, as a library in a hospitality environment.

Inmagic Melbourne User Group Meeting – Monday 13 October 2014

The next Melbourne User Group meeting will be held at the RACV City Club Library. Having just celebrated its tenth anniversary, the Library is one of several club libraries in the heart of Melbourne but is unique in its size, range of services and number of users.

The Library has used Inmagic TextWorks products since its inception, with the suite of databases evolving alongside the library over the past decade, to incorporate new services such as loans, extended research classes and extensive reporting.

IMUG meeting at Whitehorse Art Space

On 4 December 26 people met at the Whitehorse Art Space in Box Hill Town Hall to attend the final IMUG (Inmagic Museum user Group) meeting for the year. Those present came from diverse organisations including galleries, school archives, museums, historical societies and specialist research libraries illustrating the range of smaller organisations using DB/TextWorks. Three people travelled from Daylesford to attend the meeting.
